There is no higher priority for us than the safety of our patients and employees. We want you to feel confident when visiting our office, so we have enhanced some of the procedures, based on recommendations from the New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for our patients' health and safety. You do not need to postpone your well visits due to the novel coronavirus; our office is safe to visit and we are here to care for you. If you have an appointment scheduled at our office and your child is not ill, you do not need to call us before you come in for your appointment. If you have an appointment scheduled, but your child is now sick (and you haven't yet informed our staff), you need to call us before coming into the office so we can best direct you based on our protocols for the novel coronavirus.
Part of our new process includes screening patients who are ill over the phone before they come into our office so we can appropriately manage their care. This does not mean that we won't see you if you are sick, but we are asking for your cooperation in calling first to ensure that proper infection control and precautions are carried out during your appointment. Calling first will help us avoid the potential of unnecessarily exposing other patients and staff to coronavirus.
Please call us at (518) 641-6319 if you need an appointment and are ill. We are monitoring this developing situation closely, staying in regular contact with our health organizations, and other experts. We'll continue to update you as needed as this situation evolves.
