Michael P. Morin, M.D. Dr. Michael Morin has called the Capital District home since 1986. After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Morin entered the Combined Pediatrics/Internal Medicine Residency Program at Albany Medical Center, and achieved board certification in both specialties. He then served one year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics before joining the Division of General Pediatrics. He spent the next thirteen years as a member of the faculty of the Children's Hospital, focusing on Pediatric primary care and resident education. He and Dr. Lemons opened their private office in March 2004.

His academic interests include immunizations, weight management, asthma competency, dental health, injury prevention, breastfeeding, attention deficit, school problems, and building healthy habits.

Dr. Morin’s advocacy activities include work with Equinox Youth Shelter, Albany County Head Start, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the America Diabetes Association, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Albany Institute of History and Art.

Memberships include the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Capital District Pediatrics Society, The Medical Society of the State of New York.

Dr. Morin has admitting privileges at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.

When he is not working, Dr. Morin is an avid cyclist, organic gardener, and craftsman.
