Lorraine S. Lemons, D.O. Dr. Lorraine Lemons has lived in Albany since 1998. After graduating with honors from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Lemons entered her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. Following this, she was a member of the faculty of Albany Medical College in the Department of Ambulatory Pediatrics for three years before joining CapitalCare Medical Group. As Assistant Professor, Dr. Lemons served as a mentor to medical students and residents in general pediatrics, and coordinated adolescent medicine services and resident education for the Department of Pediatrics.

As a primary care pediatrician, her expertise includes weight management, building self-esteem, child safety, support of new parents, and adolescent care.

Her advocacy activities include work with Equinox Homeless Shelter as an Executive Board Member, The Girl Scouts of America (Hudson Valley Speakers List), Tryon Residential Center, and the Reach Out and Read program.

Dr. Lemons is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has admitting privileges at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She serves as the Site Medical Manager for Peds Albany.

Dr. Lemons enjoys cycling, hiking, movies, knitting and spending time with her husband, Don, daughter, Isabella and their labradoodle, Luther.
