Shawna M. Cranney
|
Born and raised in Upstate New York,
Shawna received her A.A.S in Legal Studies from Sage College of Albany.
After graduating she decided that she wanted to get out into the
workforce and utilize her degree while at the same time continuing
school on a part time basis. Shawna took a position in medical records
at a large family practice with a residency affiliation and within three
months, became supervisor of the department. In the meantime, she cross
trained throughout the office and within a year, became administrative
supervisor of the clerical department overseeing fifteen
employees. Shawna still remained taking classes at Sage and received her B.S in Legal Studies with a 3.5 GPA while working full time. She has
used her education and work experience to successfully manage a fast
paced multi-faceted family practice. Shawna joins Capital Care with four years of healthcare administration under her belt. She is ecstatic to be working with children and their families and is privileged to be part of their transition from children to adulthood. When not working, Shawna enjoys spending time with family and friends, movies, traveling and the outdoors. |
